Secretary for Food and Health approves our Hong Kong Restaurant Safety Sanitizer
The Secretary for Food and Health of Hong Kong, has defined the requirements and technological solutions related to air replacement and sanitization to be implemented by indoor catering services, to comply with measures to prevent and combat the spread of COVID (Prevention and Control of Disease - Requirement and Directions - Business and Premises - Regulation Cap. 599F).
In order to meet the regulatory requirements regarding air replacement or sanitization in the premises, operators must notify the authority by 30 April 2021 that the air exchange in the catering area has reached a value of 6 times the volume or that, alternatively, authorised air purifiers have been installed, providing suitable technical documentation (www.fehd.gov.hk).
SanificaAria 30 and the other devices in the SanificaAria range are included in the official list of those authorised for air sanitization with UV-C technology.
The choice made by the Hong Kong authorities represents an important step forward in the fight against Covid 19, as it provides operational tools that allow overcoming the difficulty in encouraging indoor air exchange, any technical impossibility to act on the operation or structure of air conditioning systems.
