Information Notice on Product Line Brands and Packaging Symbology
The Notice clarifies the meaning of certain commercial names and symbols appearing on Beghelli product packaging, in order to ensure transparent communication that complies with the latest guidelines on sustainability and consumer protection.
In compliance with the principles of transparency and clarity set out in the legislation aimed at combating so-called greenwashing, Beghelli S.p.A. wishes to provide some clarifications regarding the interpretation of historical commercial names and certain symbols appearing on its product packaging.
Product line brands "Ecoled", "Saving" and "Energy Saving"
The names Ecoled, Saving and Energy Saving have historically identified specific families of Beghelli lighting products, introduced since 2013 to accompany the transition from incandescent technology to LED technology, characterized by lower energy consumption and a longer lifespan.
These names constitute exclusively commercial product line names and must not be interpreted as declarations, certifications, or attestations relating to the environmental characteristics or specific ecological impacts of the products.
Packaging Symbology
On some packaging, a leaf-shaped icon may appear in the area dedicated to packaging disposal and recycling instructions. This symbol serves solely to visually identify the section containing information on the proper disposal of packaging.
The presence of the icon does not represent, nor is it intended to represent, an environmental certification, an ecological declaration, or a performance characteristic of the product.
